35mm: Pretty Places

Film is fun because it’s versatile. I mostly shoot with a 1978 Nikon FE (manual) and an Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 80 (automatic), both are standard 35mm film cameras.  I recently invested in a Contax T2 – specifically for the Carl Zeiss prime lens – if you’re looking for a high performing point-and-shoot, this is the one. I typically shoot all of my pictures with Kodak Gold 200, sometimes I’ll splurge on roll of Portra 400 or Portra 160.  I prefer Kodak’s film stock to that of Fuji’s, but to each their own.  If you’re wanting to get into film, I suggest playing with different options to find the aesthetic that speaks to you.

This is a continuation of my previous 35mm series.  This time, I’m sharing photos from my travels outside of California. Here are pictures of trips I’ve taken and some personal favorites:
