Lauda Restaurant, Oía

Inside the Andronis Boutique Hotel, Lauda, built in 1971, was the village’s first restaurant. Using only exceptional local ingredients and their devotion to the volcanic soil, Lauda gives you the authentic gastronomic experience being one of the best restaurants on Santorini.

Must Try: Smoked Onion, Lobster, Lamb Rack

Lycabettus Restaurant, Oía

Also at the Andronis, the white tablecloth, cliff top terrace is truly something special. This delightful terrace is shaded by countless clusters of stars and creates a sense of grandeur in a relaxed and elegant setting. The imagination in the kitchen from the executive chefs is incomparable.

Fino Restaurant & Cocktail Bar, Oía

Known for its creative Mediterranean cuisine, intriguing cocktails and a great selection of high quality local wines, the multiawarded Fino will capture your heart. Fino is located in the town of Oía with a warm and inviting setting.

Petra Restaurant, Oía

Petra is located at the Canaves Oía Luxury Resorts, with a breathtaking view of the Caldera. The six course menu is definitely one of the most interesting and creative on Santorini.

Lolita’s Gelato, Oía

An ice cream parlour located just off Oía’s main drag, Lolita makes the most‑loved Italian gelato from carefully sourced seasonal ingredients. The offering changes daily, and might feature unusual flavours such as the Cuban‑inspired and rum‑tainted “Cuban Lover” or the delicate “Rosewater Pink Pepper”.

Ammoudi Fish Tavern, Oía

Framed between volcanic red rocks and the Aegean sea, Ammoudi Bay is a tiny fishing port located about 300 steps below the town of Oía. Ammoudi Fish Tavern is a relaxed seaside restaurant with magical views any time of day.

Must Try: Beetroot Salad, Zucchini Flowers, Crispy Crust Feta Cheese, Sun-dried Octopus

Solo Gelato, Oía & Firá

Solo has amazing authentic gelato with a vivid colorful atmosphere. With locations in both Oía and Firá, this is not a spot to miss for dessert.

Lucky’s Souvlaki, Firá

Lucky’s isn’t the fanciest restaurant, but it always hits the spot. It’s extremely popular for its cheap and delicious gyros – the best on Santorini in my opinion.

Must Try: Their gyros obviously!

Metaxi Mas, Thíra

When I think of Metaxi Mas, I think laid‑back paradise. They have the most delicious recipes of the Cretan and Santorinian cuisine, using ingredients directly from their garden. This hillside restaurant has a robust patio with sea views as well.

Must Try: Octopus, Grilled Halloumi Salad

Argo Restaurant by Constantin ‑ Village, Thíra

Argo is located on the main foot path in Firá, overlooking the Caldera with gorgeous sea and sunset views from the upstairs dining area. This place is so lively at any time of day.

Must Try: Spicy Feta Cheese, Patatina, Fava, Greek Salad, Red Snapper

Kapari Wine Restaurant, Imerovigli

Kapari is the calm and perfect setting that visitors travel to Santorini for. The spectacular location is at the upscale of Imerovigli village, overlooking the Caldera Cliffs and the deep blue of the Aegean Sea, in an atrium beautiful courtyard. They also have a variety of award wines from the island to choose from.

Taverna Tzanakis, Megalochori

Tavern Tzanakis is a Greek restaurant in Megalochori, a village in the southwestern half of Santorini. The family run restaurant is authentic and incredibly delicious.

Almira Restaurant, Kamari

Almira is the go‑to spot at Kamari Beach. Besides the incredible beachside setting, one thing I loved about this place was the attentive and helpful staff. You can’t go wrong with anything you order from here.

Must Try: Tomato Fritters, Monkfish, Pork Loin
