It’s 80 degrees in Los Angeles right now and all I can think about is fall. Crisp air, the leaves changing colors, and Ugg boots on my feet. Of course, I immediately start thinking about weekend getaway spots from LA that will give me that “fall” feeling. My first thought was Noble + Proper.

Noble + Proper is Big Bear Lake’s first boutique lodge with eight tastefully decorated cabins by husband-and-wife team Sara and Sven Simon. Big Bear Lake is a small city in Southern California known for being a premier 4-season destination. On an acre of land and surrounded by beautiful pines, Noble + Proper is located less than 1.2 mile from Big Bear Village and the lake, with nature trails at the end of the road and just about a mile from the ski resorts. It’s truly a great place to stay any time of year.

All of the cabins at Noble + Proper are named and themed after the owner’s beloved family members. There are seven 830-square-foot cabins on the property with two bedrooms and one-and-a-half baths. There’s also a 3,000-square-foot cabin with four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths on offer as well. Each cabin has an outdoor area with bikes, BBQs, picnic tables, hammocks, and horseshoes for guests to enjoy.
No theme repeats itself and it’s beautiful to see the familiar and special touches to each room. This also means repeat visits to the lodge can be moments of surprise and wonder. When booking your stay, you’re able to directly select which room and theme you want. As someone who loves design and colors, this is extremely exciting to me. The cabins feel perfectly toasty and comfortable.

Since there is only eight cabins, they can fill up rather quickly so I recommend booking your stay now.
Ballin’ on a budget? Make sure to check out Noble + Proper’s website for exclusive offers. You might stumble upon a deal too good to pass up.

Noble + Proper will always be my go-to in Big Bear.
