Quarter Sheets
From a pandemic pop-up to a real restaurant, Aaron Lindell and Hannah Ziskin’s Quarter Sheets is all the buzz. They sell three styles of pizza, but my favorite was the pan-style. There’s no reservations and there’s always a line. Make sure to arrive early.

Nestled between Echo Park and Rampart Village, Doubting Thomas is a restaurant I can’t stop thinking about. Chef Naomi Shim is impressive as it gets with her ever-changing menu that highlights the yummiest seasonal produce. It is also the last Filipino owned restaurant in Historic Filipinotown. Whatever you do, make sure to get a slice of Passionfruit pie.
