Restaurants I’ve Recently Tried and Loved: Los Angeles, California

Restaurants I’ve Recently Tried and Loved in Los Angeles, California is a recurring blog post and it’s the one I’m always most excited to write. There’s so many amazing restaurants in Los Angeles, and this is my way of sharing my most recent experiences. All of these restaurants listed are a must.

Quarter Sheets

From a pandemic pop-up to a real restaurant, Aaron Lindell and Hannah Ziskin’s Quarter Sheets is all the buzz. They sell three styles of pizza, but my favorite was the pan-style. There’s no reservations and there’s always a line. Make sure to arrive early.

Nestled between Echo Park and Rampart Village, Doubting Thomas is a restaurant I can’t stop thinking about. Chef Naomi Shim is impressive as it gets with her ever-changing menu that highlights the yummiest seasonal produce. It is also the last Filipino owned restaurant in Historic Filipinotown. Whatever you do, make sure to get a slice of Passionfruit pie.
