I always love the Dallas dining scene. If you’re planning a quick weekend trip to Dallas, this 3 day restaurant guide is for you.

Anchor Sushi Bar
Anchor Sushi Bar was one of my favorite spots of the weekend. From Vandelay Hospitality Group, Anchor is the perfect place for a roll and a cocktail. They also have two locations!
Must Try: Lupton Roll, Anchor Roll
Address: 3130 Knox St, Dallas, TX 75205
The Mexican
The Mexican really surprised me. In Dallas’ Design District, this posh Mexican restaurant is the go-to spot for a girls night or a fancy date.
Must Try: Queso Fundido, Lobster Elote, Black Angus Tacos
Address: 1401 Turtle Creek Blvd, Dallas, TX 75207

Mister Charles
From Duro Hospitality, Mister Charles plays on French and Italian cuisine. Between the cocktails, rare wines, and opulent over the top design, this is not one to miss. Warning.. it’s on the pricer side!
Must Try: Grilled Cheese, Prime Beef Carpaccio, Truffle Bucatini, Dover Sole, Filet Mignon
Address: 3219 Knox St Suite 170, Dallas, TX 75205
D.L. Mack’s
Another Vandelay Hospitality Group staple. D.L. Mack’s is a classic American neighborhood spot with a nod to Chicago. As a Chicagoan in my heart, I approve. They also have multiple locations!
Must Try: The Gibson Salad, Harry Caray Special Pizza, Spicy Rigatoni
Address: 10720 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX 75230

Sister
Duro Hospitality does it again. Sister feels like a family Trattoria serving the best Italian food with Mediterranean flare. The restaurant resides in the former iconic The Grape.
Must Try: Veal & Pork Meatballs, Pesto Fusilli, Grilled Kale, Moroccan Spiced Chicken
Address: 2808 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75206
Taverna
This may be a small chain, but it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re around one. From the Lombardi Family Concepts, Taverna is a cozy delicious restaurant for something a little more casual.
Must Try: Kale & Rotisserie Chicken Salad, Chef’s Focaccia, Any of the Risottos
Address: 312 Knox St, Dallas, TX 75205

Bobbie’s Airway Grill
Located in Preston Royal, Bobbie’s Airway Grill offers upscale takes on comforting classics. This Western Addition restaurant should be your first stop in the area.
Must Try: Crispy Oysters, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Italian Dip, Miso Salmon
Address: 5959 Royal Ln #515, Dallas, TX 75230
Sadelle’s
Sadelle’s is a Major Food Group classic. It never misses and always has a great atmosphere. If you’re in Highland Park Village, Sadelle’s is never a bad option.
Must Try: Pigs in a Blanket, Sadelle’s Tower, Freddy Salad, Special Cheeseburger
Address: 1 Highland Park Village, Dallas, TX 75205

Katy Trail Ice House
Katy Trail Ice House screams Texas. The Ice House is an Austin style beer garden and restaurant, located in the heart of uptown Dallas on the Katy Trail. Take a walk on the trail then stop here for some lunch on the patio.
Must Try: Loaded Queso
Address: 3127 Routh St, Dallas, TX 75201
Uchi
I didn’t actually eat at Uchi this weekend, but wherever there’s an Uchi, it should be on your list. Uchi is one of my favorite sushi spots ever!
Must Try: Hot Rock, Hirame Usuzukuri, Hama Chili, Negitoro
Address: 2817 Maple Ave, Dallas, TX 75201
